Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw is giving residents the opportunity to shape the way the county is policed over the next four years.

The Commissioner has today launched an online survey designed to gather residents policing and crime priorities to feed into his Police and Crime Plan.

The plan will shape the way the Constabulary and community safety partners work together to keep Lancashire safe.

Mr Grunshaw said: "It is my role to be the voice of the public of Lancashire and ensure their needs are reflected in my Police and Crime Plan.

"This plan is important because it sets the direction for policing over the next four years so it is vital we hear from as many people as possible to ensure we get this right."

The Commissioner, who is touring the country and talking to residents to get their input, thanked everyone who has shared their views so far at his Let's Talk Policing consultation events and has now made the survey available online for anyone who has not yet had chance to take part.

He added: "The responses from everyone who takes part in my Let's Talk Policing consultation will be listened to and help influence the policing priorities for Lancashire, how I delegate resources to the Chief Constable and how I support the organisations working to reduce crime and disorder as well as support victims.

"Thank you to everyone who has had their say so far but it is not too late to make your voice heard. My short online survey is now live so you can tell me what is important to you."

The online survey takes less than five minutes to complete and can be found at www.lancashire-pcc.gov.uk/lets-talk-policing
